The Clinch River flows southwest for more than 300 miles through the Great Appalachian Valley of Virginia and Tennessee. The river is one of the cleanest in Tennessee with 29 varieties of rare freshwater mussels and 19 species of fish including Rainbow Trout, Brown Trout, and brook trout.
